Several years ago, we showcased a really early version of "EarthNight" at E3. At some point during the event, renowned composer Hitoshi Sakimoto checked out the game and took a liking to it — so much so that he offered to provide a song for us along with his music team. We were honored and thrilled, and what he came up with was absolutely gorgeous, epic and amazing. We decided to use his original orchestral version as the closing credits song, and I arranged a Game Boy version of his composition that would function as the background music for World 4 (see tracks 12 and 32). I'm proud and excited to feature both on this soundtrack!

Again, we are honored to have had this video game music legend as part of our project, and we hope you enjoy the tunes!
